Lenten Unit Study: Amon’s Adventure
Details: recommended for ages 7-13 (grades 2-8); set includes 48 days of lent lesson plans and materials to cover from Shrove Tuesday through the day before Easter.
This package includes a variety of Lent and Easter homeschool resources:
- Amon’s Adventure by Arnold Ytreeide – like new, binding tight, never read
- Daily schedule and notes for each day of Lent including suggested questions to encourage discussions; no writing, no missing pages; loose three-hole punched pages
- Five Sonlight blank recipe cards for adding to your own recipe file
- Seven pieces of construction paper; “rolled” on one end of each (not sure if it was part of the original kit or added later; “rolled” due to size of box
- Small blue Styrofoam tray
- Small bottle of glue
- Small piece of twine
- Six green pipe cleaners
- Three yellow pipe cleaners
- Tissue paper squares
- Seven pieces of thicker colored paper (like cardstock)
- Three large coffee filters
- Bag of green crinkled paper strips
NOTE: This Unit Study was originally released in 2021, but dates can easily be adjusted to Lent in any year.
Not all consumable items needed are provided. Schedules indicate which supplies the family must provide (such as googly eyes and markers). From the kit above, there may be some missing tissue paper squares, colored paper, and a few pipe cleaners. Popsicle sticks are missing. The Sonlight website nor the enclosed paper work included a compete list of contents. Therefore, it is not possible to know if consumable items are missing without reading each page.
